Through this acquisition of a sector colleague from Breda, Dematra Group enters the Dutch market. It is Dematra Group's second acquisition in a short time. In May of this year, it took over De Sloover, a carrier in nearby Zulte.
Nouwens Transport Breda BV specializes in the transport and storage of high-quality goods, including consumer electronics, pharmaceuticals and food. Nouwens transports these goods in the Benelux and throughout Europe, including 24-hour distribution to the United Kingdom.
Dematra and Nouwens will be able to better serve their customers as a result of this acquisition, as they will be able to offer a broader range of services. Behind the scenes, Nouwens Transport and Dematra will each focus independently on their own operational specialization.

The combined Dematra - De Sloover - Nouwens group achieved sales of more than 60 million euros in 2022.
