Our environment

Solar Panels

More than 3,500 solar panels adorn the roof of our fully automated high bay warehouse, so our warehouse runs entirely on green energy. This not only ensures a positive impact on the environment, it also makes us less dependent on possible external power failures.

Electric trucks

We are only on the eve of the electrification of freight traffic, but we want to honor our role as a pioneer by already purchasing and commissioning some full electric vehicles. We will closely follow the further development of this market and see where we can make our fleet more sustainable without sacrificing efficiency.

Lean & Green

Lean & Green is the leadingCO2 reduction program in which both shippers and logistics service providers can participate. The program aims to sustainably reduceCO2 emissions in logistics by promoting cooperation, sharing knowledge and implementing smart, effective measures. We are therefore proud that we were able to win this label.

A positive impact on our environment

As a transporter, we are on the road day in and day out and consume a lot of energy. We are therefore fully committed to making our fleet more sustainable and generating renewable energy.

Our people

Safety

Safety first is not a hollow concept at Dematra. In an environment where everything and everyone is constantly on the move, safety is an essential element. Proper clothing, protection and compliance with the rules are extremely important in the work we do, both internally and on the road. We are therefore committed to raising awareness among our people.

Well-being

The well-being of our employees does not leave us unmoved. We all spend a large part of our time at work, so it is very important that it advances people as persons. Not only financially, but also in terms of satisfaction and development. We are therefore committed to initiatives that make life on the job more pleasant and provide the necessary training.

Automation

Both in our warehouses and in our vehicles and offices, we focus on automation, reducing the number of repetitive tasks and allowing our people to devote themselves to tasks where they can really make a difference.

What you love to do, you do well.

Healthy, fit employees who are comfortable and happy at work experience less stress and are more productive. This has a positive impact on the company in several ways.
