Transportation Planner

Your duties

As a Transport Planner, you are the beating heart of our transport planning. You will work in a team of three enthusiastic colleagues. You will be responsible for optimizing the planning of trips, coordinating drivers, and maintaining contact with customers.

Your duties

• Planning and optimizing daily transport assignments using PTV software and Navitrans.
• Coordinate drivers and vehicles to ensure smooth and efficient service.
• Communicate with customers about deliveries, delivery dates and any changes.
• Support the team in resolving operational challenges and ad hoc queries.
• Actively contribute to a positive team culture and smooth internal communication.

Your profile

• Experience in transportation planning or logistics, preferably with route optimization software.
• Interest in and eagerness to learn Navitrans PTV Route Optimizer/OptiFlow
• Strong communication skills: you dare to address both drivers and customers.
• Team player who enjoys working in a dynamic team of three people.
• You work in shifts (week 1: 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., week 2: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., week 3: 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.).
• Organizational ability and solution-oriented thinking, even under pressure.
• Taking initiative and possibly daring to lead the planning team.
• Positive and customer-oriented attitude, with an eye for quality and efficiency.
