As a Transport & Logistics Administrative Assistant, you play a central role in our day-to-day operations.
You ensure that our transport administration runs smoothly and that drivers, customers, and colleagues can count on you.
You're the one behind the scenes who makes sure everything runs smoothly.
Your duties
- You will handle the administrative preparation of shipping orders and ensure that all documents are available on time and are accurate.
- You will staff the reception desk and serve as the point of contact for drivers upon arrival and departure.
- You assign trucks to the correct loading and unloading docks and ensure a smooth flow of traffic on the site.
- You review and sign off on CMR documents and process them correctly in the records.
- You coordinate daily with the transportation planning team to ensure that empty trailers are available in a timely manner for pre-loading.
- You will ensure efficient communication between the planning department, the warehouse, and the drivers to keep operations running smoothly.
- You will closely monitor the administrative processing of shipments and flag any discrepancies.
- You actively contribute ideas for improvements to the logistics processes and help ensure they run efficiently.
