Team Leader Warehouse fixed night

Are you a natural leader who keeps the logistics process running smoothly during the night shift? At Dematra (www.dematra.be), a leading logistics service provider in the Benelux, to which Wim Claes Transport & Logistics (www.wimclaes.be) belongs, we are looking for a driven Team Leader who, with insight, decisiveness and enthusiasm, supports and manages our warehouse team during night operations.

What will you do?

As a Team Leader, you will be the hub of the logistics process during the night shift. You will combine planning, coordination and operational support to ensure that everything runs smoothly:

- Lead the night team: You will supervise warehouse workers and drivers during their processes, provide support and ensure a positive work atmosphere.

- Inbound and outbound organizing: You will support inbound shuttle trips and monitor truck loading, including correct load securing and documentation (CMRs, load lists).

- Technical Support: You will troubleshoot problems with the WMS system and manage the scanning process from A to Z.

- Scheduling and Administration: You will adjust schedules as needed, manage trips and perform necessary administration using TAS software.

- Troubleshooting: In case of deviations during picking or loading, you provide efficient solutions so that deliveries are made in a timely manner.

- Manage Night Telephony: You will handle calls from drivers and customers and monitor truck departure times.

- Making technical decisions: You organize depannages, change vehicles as needed and take into account transportation requirements.

You are additionally flexible to take on operational tasks on your own.

You have the perfect combination of experience, leadership and operational acumen:

- Experience: Experience in logistics, preferably as a team leader.

- Natural leader: You manage a team and know how to motivate and support them.

- Problem solver: You make ad hoc decisions and think in solutions.

- Organizational strong: You structure information and ensure clear handover with the evening and morning team.

- Stress resistant: You keep an overview even during the busiest times.

- Technical Knowledge: You are familiar with WMS systems and can quickly learn new software. Knowledge of trucks and their specifications is a plus.

- Hands-on mentality: You are willing to physically assist yourself when needed.

- Certifications: A forklift certificate is a plus - or you are willing to obtain one.
