• Operational management of planners, drivers and warehouse employees
• Supervise, coach and motivate the team
• Organize and optimize transportation and distribution activities
• Oversee efficient receipt, storage and coordination of incoming goods
• Bringing structure to processes and avoiding duplication of effort
• HR administrative tasks (including billing, attendance, personnel management)
• Customer contact and solving operational challenges
• P&L responsibility and pursuit of higher returns
• Cooperate yourself where necessary - you set the example

• Experience within transportation and distribution, ideally in a managerial position
• Knowledge of warehouse operations is a strong asset
• Insight into both operational and HR processes, including administrative tasks
• Strong communication skills and decision making ability
• Hands-on mentality and solution-oriented thinking
• Ability to bring structure and efficiency to existing processes
• Customer-oriented attitude and commercial feeling
